Come Join the Only Volleyball Club in the State of Montana to Qualify for the Girl's "Junior Olympic" National Championships
Montana Volleyball Academy has dedicated itself to providing the best grassroots volleyball program in the greater Missoula area and beyond. As we strive to better serve the community that we love so much we work to provide the best learning environment and the most opportunity for participation of all levels of skill and interest. It is for that reason that MVA has designed four different competitive programs to fit every athletes skill level and every families need.
All levels at MVA will receive:
MVA National teams are the highest level of competition that MVA offers. National teams will pursue a bid to the Girls Junior National Championships. The season runs from January through June and includes 1-3 Junior National Qualifiers and an additional out of state tournament in June. National teams practice three times per week incuding twice per week strength and conditioning. In addition to an extended playing schedule, college advising, filming and collegiate coach contacts, we will be available to aid athletes through their college recruiting process. This program is designed for athletes who want to play at the highest National level and have goals of competing at the collegiate level.
Competitive teams are an intermediate skill level division of MVA that require less time and financial commitments from athletes and families than our Elite programs while still providing a quality competitive environments. Competitive teams will practice twice per week. These teams will compete within the state of Montana through the AAU organization. The Competitive team season will run from Mid-February through May.
The MVA Elite teams are an advanced level program that will compete in USAV/ERVA tournaments in the Spokane area as well as AAU tournaments in Western Montana. The season will go from January through May with the possibility of extending through June if the team chooses. Elite teams will compete in USAV and AAU events. These teams can expect to practice 2 times per week. Emerald City Classic may be added to the schedule.
MVA Gold Teams
(U12 and U14 only)
Our Gold Teams are an entry level program designed to allow athletes to develop their skills and court as well as play in an abbreviated season while at the same time maintaining cost effectiveness. The Gold Team season runs from March until mid-May. There will be one clinic style practice and one team practice. Beginning in April, the teams will have one practice per week and play in an MVA run tournaments. This is a great way for young players to explore their interest in volleyball while improving their skill level.
